Hey, I would say that this is a decent start.
Are you a junior and if you are, how were you on the football team for four years?

Other than that, I would improve on SAT. If you want a good chance at Cornell, you might need 2200+.
Your extracurriculars are okay but I would add more that pertain to the major of your desire but it does look like you are very productive seeing that you are spending your summers doing a lot of work.
Remember to do extracurriculars that you enjoy.

Also essays and recommendations. Those essays have a HUGE impact.

Completely honest, I would say mid-high reach right now but you have time to change that by doing some of the stuff above and its really hard to judge.

Yeah, your leadership experience thus far is great, but you need to aim for the highest possible SAT score. Cornell, unlike many schools that claim to, uses a holistic admissions process. However, I like to think that you need to get the minimum SAT score (probably around at least a 2100) to crack the door open so your extracurriculars, recommendations, and GPA can kick it down. But a 2000 SAT score makes Cornell a tough option right now. I never took the ACT, but a lot of my friends found it better than the SAT, so consider taking that as well. Good luck!

Idk if Cornell looks at ethnicity but I’m Spanish if that means anything

@nymets56 I definitely don’t think that hurts you. I think Cornell would take that into account. It takes pride on being the most diverse Ivy.

And I’m also applying ED

@nymets56‌ That certainly helps too lol
