This first semester of my senior year my GPA went up quite a lot and my class rank increased from 20/420 to being in the top 10 of 420. Also, my senior year I have the most rigorous course selection as possible (6 IB courses, IB ToK, and an AP course). I received all A’s last semester and believe that this jump in class rank and GPA could possibly improve my chances? My question is to what extent do admissions officers consider your Mid Year report before making a decision?
Yes, it helps. Especially if you made a huge jump in rank. They do consider it.
