<p>I'm only a sophomore but I don't think its to early to start thinking about college .. heres my "resume" so far ... what do you think my chances are for getting into NYU ? And do you have any other advice for me? i would really appreciate some feedback! =)

<p>just do good in junior year. take as many ap or honor classes as you can. seriously. They wanna see how well you can perform at NYU when you enter as freshmen, and a good way to show that is to take a lot of ap classes and do good in them.</p>

<p>to be honest, your psat score is pretty bad. But hey, when i was sophomore, i got a psat score of like 161, and i easily bumped it up to high 1900s for the real sat's with only 1 month of studying. If you study diligently, you should be ok.</p>

<p>oh yea, and the essay is pretty important for NYU. but you dont have to worry about that right now.</p>

<p>It's so hard to determine from that. You sound like a very conscienctious student, but without the APs and your grades and courseload from the extremely critical junior year, not to mention definite SAT grades, it's almost impossible to make a prediction. You seem as though you work hard and are willing to work even harder, so continue what you're doing, don't get discouraged by your Regents grades, and you'll end up where you belong.</p>
