Can we make changes after I submitted for EA?

Hi,
My son tried to finish his common ap last night, but some how he only submitted the EA supplement. He got some questions in regards to the RD schools. When he tried to fill out the future plans for each school, but he was not sure his plans yet. Can he make changes to the RD schools after he submitted the EA school? He has not started anyting for the RD yet, but it seems the Common app requires to put some of the RD stuff. We are very confused here. Can someone please help? Is there a phone # we can call Common app? I was unable to see one from their website? Also for the common supplement, do we have to submit now along with the EA? I don't think our EA school needs it. Please help!
Thank you so much.

The entire common app must be complete before you can submit it to any schools. After you submit, you cannot change that version. However, you are able to make alternate versions of the common app if your son made any mistakes. While there is no common app phone number, they have an extensive online help center. You may also submit any questions online and typically they answer promptly (within 48 hours, I’ve found).

If your son has not sent out the common app or the supplement for the RD school, he can change the supplement and the future plans section for the RD school. What is confusing (and I think this is what you are referring to but I could be wrong) is that part of the common app changes for each college depending on what you entered in the future plans section. Good luck.

Here’s the info on how to create a copy to be used for your non-EA schools: http://s3.parature.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=104
