Can we submit multiple SIR's different schools? How does it work?

I was just wondering, in case something terrible happens and admission to one of the schools is rescinded.

Can we submit multiple SIR's different schools? How does it work?

I was just wondering, in case something terrible happens and admission to one of the schools is rescinded.

and what exactly is that “something terrible” ?
care to elaborate?

i don’t really have anything specific in mind, just god-forbid something unforeseen happens.

Regarding to ‘different schools,’ I meant different UC’s.

If something terrible happens, I think all the UCs would have the same consequences.

I understand submitting multiple SIR’s to different UC’s is a despicable thing to do if it were for freshmen admissions. You are taking a potential spot from someone on the waiting-list. However, there’s no waiting-list for transfer admissions, so I was just wondering what are the possible repercussions.

^^ not necessarily. I go to a CCC (Monterey Peninsula College) and we don’t end until…June 2nd or 3rd.

this is a good question and i am wondering the samething. uci requires me to get a B in math. sir is due june 1st, and finals r june 7. lets say i get a C in math cause final is 33% of my grade. would it be possible for me two submit to SIR just in case i get screwed over by uci?

multiple SIR submissions can (and has) resulted in loss of admission to UC.

no u cannot

It doesn’t really make sense. It is possible for someone to not meet the condition at one campus and meet the condition at the other. But we can only do one SIR, if we get screwed then we can’t go anywhere. I hate this policy

No, you can not submit multiple SIRs and doing so will jeopardize your admit status.

"I accept this offer of admission to UC San Diego and I intend to register for Fall Quarter 2010. I understand that I may accept admission to only one campus of the University of California; returning more than one offer may jeopardize my enrollment opportunities. " this is what happens if you submit multiple sirs. I copied and pasted it.

Something terrible = They find out and kick you out. And rightly so. SIR’ing means you can turn down admission somewhere else and let someone else in.
