In a common college admission essay, can we began off with a few dialouge sentences? (Ex: "Blah blah blah," said John.) Is that too lame/cheesy or fresh/creative? Since the admissioners want to "hear" our "voice" through an essay, can we basically use slang like "nigga" or something in a dialouge sentence? Keep in mind, I ask because I'm quoting people in my essay that fits with the story.

Yes, of course, go for it.

You can use dialogue, but I feel slang like “■■■■■” would be pushing things too far. Even if it’s someone else saying it and all that, I’m just thinking that it could offend the admissions officer - a risk you don’t wanna take.
