I'm graduating next year (2012) and I wanted to know if it is possible to alternate between two schools for Summer and Fall semesters. My main two choices for college are UCF Orlando and USF Tampa. I wanted to know if I could have this pattern: USF (summer), UCF (fall-spring), USF (summer), UCF (fall-spring), ect. If this is possible, will money be a greater problem? Will I have to pay full tuition and fees for both universities? Will I have to take a full course load during summer? Will I have to apply to these colleges four times each?

can anyone help?

You probably need to talk to someone at those two universities to get an accurate response. It sounds like you want to take summer classes close to home? Most (if not all) colleges allow “visiting students” to take courses. It’s up to your main college (UCF for you) to set rules regarding what transfer credits they allow and a maximum number of transfer credits they’ll allow. Start with UCF and try to find out their requirements regarding accepting credits from other institutions, and check into USF’s website to see rules about visiting students. Once you think you understand what they’ll each allow and how it applies to what you want to do, call and talk to someone in the registrar’s office to confirm your understanding.

thank you.
