can you cancel AP scores after you receive them?

This question has been on here a few times, but never been clearly answered.

I’m not a junior, so I’m not sending it to any college this year. Is it possible to completely erase the score from the records, then?

Sure it has. Many, many times. The answer to your question is semantics.

No, you cannot “cancel” your score after you receive it, but you can “withhold” the score from the report sent to colleges. As with most everything with the CB, there is a fee involved.

You can cancel a score. It must be done by June 15th the year you take the test to not be sent to schools you listed on your application. Otherwise, you can cancel later. But, yes, it is College Board so there is a fee.
