On the AP Student Pack 2017, there’s a specific line that says “requests to cancel scores may be submitted at any time” (pg 4). Does this mean that if the score I receive for my AP test is less than satisfactory, I can have the option of canceling the score entirely even after I receive the score?
If not, what does this mean?
It’s semantics, but you can only cancel the score through 6/15. So, since you would receive the scores in July, you will not be able to cancel after you see your score. However, you have the option to withhold the score (for a fee) from the score report that is sent to colleges.
Um… actually -
I called collegeboard, and they said that you could cancel your AP score whenever you want (including after you receive your score).
The 6/15 deadline is only for those who wanted their score to be sent to a college but want to cancel the score so that colleges can’t see it.
