Decided not to take the June ACT due to finals the following week, but they are not letting me change the date to September. Do you know if it is possible to do this, or do you just lose the money?

You likely don’t get a refund. Take it anyway to figure out where your strengths/weaknesses are and don’t send it to any colleges.

I called the ACT to find out about this, and was told that the reservations for next year don’t open up until July 15. If you don’t take the test on June 9 you have to wait until July, and then you can change the date for the $20 fee.

Nope, no refunds, especially since the test is in two days. You should take it anyway just to see where you’re at. Don’t just skip it and let the money go to waste.

^^^^ As I said in my second post, I spoke to a customer service rep at ACT, and they said you can change the date in July. Not sure where Vat and Taz are getting their information.

^So are you going to take it? I’m debating as well…

I called, too. I think it’s $21 to make the change.
