Can you change your financial aid status?

@geekgurl

In my opinion, you need to remember that these schools are very competitive for international admissions anyway.

I think this has been said to you on ALL of the threads you have started asking about financial aid.

IF YOU NEED AID TO ATTEND A COLLEGE…APPLY FOR AID.

And yes, I’m yelling…because you don’t seem to be hearing that advice despite being told it over…and over…and over.

Can your family pay the FULL cost of attendance at these colleges…for all four years if you don’t apply for aid, and get accepted? Can they? If they have $250,000 plus to spend on your college education…then do what you want.

Merit aid is very competitive at these schools as well…for the very few who give merit aid…and it’s even more competitive for international students who first have to get accepted.

And another question…just what is the realistic sure thing on your application list…because you need one of those. The schools I listed above…and which seem to be where you applied, are NOT a slam dunk for admissions for any international student.

So…what are your safety schools…because you know…you DO want to get accepted someplace.

@thumper1 I already got some acceptances so I’ll have somewhere to go if nothing works out, thanks for your concern though. Seems like I was wrong to think that merit aid would be easier to get than getting admissions with need aware policy in the first place.

Do you have acceptances that are affordable…because…if you don’t…you have NO acceptances really.

@thumper1 Yeah they’re affordable :slight_smile:

That’s good.
