can you get into a decent college with no e.c or voulenteer work

like a csu or uc

well can you

well your grades would have to be phenomenal to make up for lack of after school activity, as US colleges tend to consider EC’s and volunteer work to be very important.
If you’re open to looking at schools outside the US, schools in the UK and many other countries only consider the grades and test scores of their applicants.
If not, then it will be harder for you to get into a good school, but hopefully you’ve been able to get excellent grades, which will help you balance out your lack of EC’s.

Good luck!!! :D

Generally know, even with great grades and scores schools will reject you if you have no ECs (I have heard stories of this when I visited colleges). With no ECs you have to apply to schools that should be safeties and treat them as matches/reaches (depending on how much they value ECs).

Do you mean absolutely no ECs?

Then no, probably not.

OP has a 2350 sat and 3.6 gpa

Devry is decent.

With those stats, you shouldn’t have a problem getting into csu’s and probably some of the ucs. Do you have any hobbies that you could mention?

@RAF1940-That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen written on this forum.

I find it hard to believe that you have absolutely NOTHING you could list as an EC. You must do something other than school. Maybe you have some activities that you don’t think would count, but you could still list them?
