I think you have a pretty good shot. Your Gpa is kinda low but i think your SAT will bump you in. Can you chancew me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/811369-please-chance-normal-kid.html

You’re definitely in.

Worse case scenario they might take you in Arts & Sciences and not Business so you’d have to transfer in after a year or 2.

SAS accepts everyone who has a composite SAT score thats above an 1000/1600.

sofie - i would like to know how you got this information, if it were true i would be very happy, i don’t think it is.

I can confirm what sofie said. However, they might have changed it from last year.

I got this information from a Rutgers person that vists school. basically what he said was if you have 1000 or above in the math and critical reading, you’re in.

I have to say this if the first i’m hearing of that and i’m telling you that it is dead wrong (even know i don’t have any proof).

Based on posts on this board, it seems as if Rutgers is getting a lot of good candidates this year.

I don’t think 1000 SAT will guarantee everyone admission into NB.

Is that true about the “above 1000” combined CR/Math score?
That seems a bit outrageous to me.

there are no “guarantees” …a lot of people have been let down on these boards.

yeah, i have a personal friend who got rejected with that composite…last year (class of '13)

but OP, you have a good shot. I pretty much had the same stats as you except I did better in—(no bragging. i’ll stop). but you did put down business, which I’m not really familiar with. i do have a friend who got into the school of business, if you’d like i can ask him what his stats were.

i applied to both SoE (engineering) and SAS (arts and sciences) and got in fine…within a month actually, but that’s because i applied really early.
