can you not put the ap scores on the apps but still get college credit later?

i got a 3 on the bio and apush and i don't really want to put it on my apps because it looks bad. so at the end of the year (assuming i get into a uc), can i go and show them the bio and ush scores with my senior ap scores and still get credit even though i didn't put it on my apps?

Revealing your AP scores from junior year is entirely voluntary on your college applications. Most people only show them if they think it helps their chances for admittance -- e.g., if thge scores are all 4's and 5's.

AP scores really don't matter until you matriculate at a specific college -- and even then, they may or may not count, depending upon the particular school. Please note that many colleges will not give credit for AP scores less than 4 or 5, or will give credit for only certain subjects. Some schools do not give credit but use the AP scores for placement into higher level courses. Be sure to check the policies of the individual schools you are applying to.

Most schools will ask you to have College Board send your AP scores to them after you send in your initial deposit and before you register for your first classes.

You can send the AP scores after you're accepted. If you're taking any AP classes as a senior you have to do that anyway.

yeah, you dont have to submit them at all throughout the application process. when i asked admission people about mine because i wanted to they said i dont have but it could only help my app. so if you feel you didnt do well jsut dont submit them until you enroll at one of the college. good luck!
