Are you in-state? If you are, you have a great chance at every one of them, as long as you don’t screw up your essays incredibly bad.

Your STATs are very competitive. You have a good chance at all the UC’s you listed.

thanks guys @capitalamerica yes I am in state. and I want to do premed/bio major. do you think that’s possible? and what do you think are my chances for UCSD med scholars program?

You do have a chance at the UCSD Med Scholars program, but you need more medical focused EC’s such as physician shadowing or research. Remember, they only consider the top 2% of applicants. Good Luck.

@gumbymom thanks. do you think I could get into UCSD, UCLA, UCI, and UC Davis as a bio/premed major? (those are my top 4 tbh) and in your opinion, which one of those 4 uc’s do you think is the best for premed/bio?

You have a good chance at all UC’s you have listed. For Medical school applications you need to go to a school where you would get the best chance for a High GPA, ability for research and medical focused EC’s and preparation for the MCAT. All these schools would do an excellent job of preparing you for Medical School. It will all depend upon which school you feel is the best “fit”. Have you visited any of the schools? and if not, you really should. I do not think any one is better than the other.

I like the ucsd campus and the uci campus, the ucd campus is spectacular too, and ucla’s ok haha. do you think I have screwed up everything because of the 3.92 unweighted? is that very low?

The maximum possible GPA for unweighted is 4.0, so a 3.92 is insignificant. Did you calculate your UC weighted?? Your EC’s are a bit lacking so just write great essays and hopefully these will give a boost. All you can do is know you tried your best and be proud of what you have accomplished regardless of the final results.
I am sure when the time comes, you will have several great schools to choose from to attend.

thank you. i’m not quite sure how to calculate my uc gpa, however. but i do know that my uc unweighted gpa is a 4.0, since they don’t factor in freshman grades, and i received a few b’s freshman year. and my dream school is ucsd, and, since you seem to be very experienced, do you think i will get in there? sorry i’m just very stressed so i keep asking this. and i know this is a tad off topic, but do you think i have any chance whatsoever at: 1. u of chicago or 2. washington u st louis’s 8-yr direct medical program?

Your Ec’s are not great at all but thats fine since you’re applying to the UC’s. Whether or not you’re in state or out of state matters a lot of UC’s but overall your numbers are great! You should expect to make every single UC. Coming from Norcal where everyone applies for Berkeley I get a good idea of what to do for Berkeley. If your UC GPA is over 4.35 for pre med you should be good especially with your greaat SATs.

Chance me back! (Please)
