<p>I was just wondering if UCSB allows opposite-sex couples and friends to room with each other as long as both sides are consenting. If this isn't allowed, can you request to be on the same floor?</p>

<p>Nope. The only opposite-sex housing UCSB offers is the family student housing in north campus, and unless you have a child, you’ll be on the waiting list for a long time.</p>
<p>You can always move off campus.</p>
