Can you send AP test to Cal Poly via normal delivery or is Rush required?

The Cal Poly Required Documents page is ambiguous about AP test scores. You have to have HS and College transcripts in by July 15. But they don’t state a date for AP tests. So is it safe to assume normal delivery is ok?

“Have the results of any College Board Advanced Placement Program (AP) testing, International Baccalaureate (IB) testing or the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) sent to Cal Poly if taken.”

The AP test scores should be sent automatically if your student filled out that SLO was the school they will be matriculating in the Fall when taking their 12th grade AP exams. College Board will send all AP test scores once the Senior year scores are ready. The schools will receive before the students are notified of their results.

Scores are ready around July 5 or so, so that should be adequate time to get there. However, do watch out for AP scores that are late - my kid had one score that was delayed because of a proctor missing signature or something like that, this does happen. In my kid’s case, the score wasn’t available until 2 weeks alter. In that case you’ll need to notify the school on what is going on.
