Can you still get into a good school with a bad freshman year?

Ok, so in my freshman year I was taken very off guard by the coursework I received. By the end of it I had a 4.997/6 GPA and I was rank 118. This year I’m doing much better and I have a 5.25 GPA. My question is what are the chances of me making it into a good school like Rice or an Ivy League? I have taken all AP and IB classes both years

Any help would be appreciated.

Way too early to tell.

One bad freshman year will not kill your chances but will certainly decrease them.
