<p>Go in wearing it. If the proctor makes you take it off, take it off. If you can get away with it, go for it. There is nothing to lose with this scenario, and the worst that can happen is that your proctor looks negatively at you for the next 4 hours.</p>

I always wear a hat in the beginning of the test, then I put it on and off.
Only once a proctor insisted that I laid my hat down because of the school dress code.</p>
<p>I think you can, because I wore a hat on my sat II's and they let me so.....</p>
