In the U.S. job prospects for international university graduates are NOT good. Most students discover they have to return home once their studies - and their student visa - ends.
study where you plan to work after graduation
Agree with @katliamom. International candidates, in US schools, are expected to return home after their education.
Oh really! Because i have heard on the contrary, that there are lots of job prospects in the US and pus i would like to work there i guess.
There are prospects for Americans – but far, far fewer for international graduates. First, many engineering jobs and laboratories require you to be a permanent resident or citizen. Second, in order to work here, an American company would have to sponsor you for a temporary 3 year work visa. It’s an expensive, lengthy and difficult process; the company has to prove to the U.S. government that there are no qualified Americans for this position. There is a limited number of these kinds of visas allowed every year. Many people who do get this visa earn less than Americans in the same position, and most are sent home after the 3 years.
Universities in both countries provide little or no financial aid to internationals, except for the uber endowed elite American schools e.g. Harvard.
