Does Canada require SAT? What universities do not require SAT in Canada?

Canadian universities don’t require the SAT or ACT for Canadian high school students. They don’t require them for non-US students either. It’s best to google Name of university + international + admission requirements because it depends on the university and the country you’re in and the program that you’re applying to.

Several small universities in Eastern Canada do not require the SAT for any applicants. This includes at least Bishop’s, Mount Allison, St Francis Xavier, Acadia, and Mount Allison.

We are from the US so the large schools that we looked at do require the SAT for us. What matters in terms of admissions requirements is where you went to high school, not what your citizenship is.

We did find clear instructions on-line for any universities that we were considering.
