Canadian-American Dual citizen going to canada w/o canadian passport?!

I am going to go to school/University in canada. I grew up in America and live in America.

Unfortunately, I just found out that I got off a waiting list last week.

I have less than 2 weeks to get everything in order.

Moreover, even though I am a canadian citizen, I do not have a canadian certificate of citizenship as my father lost it. Also, my canadian passport is expired as My father never bothered to renew it. Worse off, I do not have any other documentation such as birth certificate, etc. My father also never bothered to get me a canadian social insurance number and he locked all these documents in a file cabinet preventing my access to them and then lost half of them somehow.

I only hold an american passport and an expired canadian passport. I am going to school in Ontario.

SInce I am dual, but don't have any canadian proof, what should I do?

Can I enter with my American passport? HOw long will I have. Once I am in canada i will apply to get my canadian documents ready.

what should I do?

Also, does anybody know how to get from Arizona to Kingston, Ontario? Kingston is a small city of pop <100,000 three hours north of Toronto.

There's no airport there and I will not be bringing a car into canada!

Contact your University first thing. I would assume you are going to Queens. You had also better contact the Canadian consulate in Arizona or call Canadian immigration. I will be very surprised if you are able to get your documents fast enough. At least you do have an expired Canadian Passport so some of your information will be on file.If you know where you were born you may be able to contact that province and get a copy of the proof of birth registration and from there apply for a birth certificate then a SIN card. As far as getting to Kingston you are best to fly to Toronto and bus or train from there.
You will be able to enter with your American Passport but you will not be allowed to go to school without a student visa. Good Luck
