Canadian college for a California boy

I have recently began to start looking at canadian colleges for i have heard
they are beginning to become a very viable choice for Americans. I have looked
everywhere and cannot find any admissions data to convince my momma its a good
Idea. I am interested in University of British Columbia, and University of Toronto.
I have nearly the maximum number of honors/ aps that i can have. 2-fresh
5-soph 6-junior. I just completed my first semester of junior year. I got a 2300
on my SAT, have decent ec, and am also in IB. I am on a team for a competition
called World Quest where our 4 man team made it to nationals and placed 6th
I got about halfs A and B. I really wrecked my freshman year, but I have an upward
trend (not trying to make an excuse)
because it really took me a little time to mature and prioritize. While i of course
want to go to a good college so i can succeed, I also feel obligated because my
parents worked so hard to give me an opportunity when they had none. I am
Interested in science, especially physics.
So far my grades have looked like this.
Freshman
(5B. 2A.)
( 5A 2B.)
Soph
( 4A 3B)
( 5A. 2B. )
Junior
( 3A. 4B)
2 honors. 5 honors. 6 honors
Please do not immediately write me off because of all the B's. I really
have had difficulty but am finally picking it up. I really dont mean to
sound arrogant, but I know i can do so much better, i just was lazy and
foolish for a long time. I know i can pull all A's junior 2nd semester and
senior year. I have always had a great talent for essays, so if there is
an essay portion i am sure it would be convincing. For all poor spelling
or grammar errors, i apologize i am on my phone.

Again, i was unable to find anything about their admissions rates or requirements.
An appraisal is great but even just some info is appreciated.
Thank you so much for all who take the time to aid me.

The best I could come up with, as far as chances are concerned, is Parchment. Neither are popular majors at these schools.

UBC: Safety (doing WorldQuest up to the national level is the one EC you have that will pretty much secure your acceptance as a Thunderbird)
U Toronto: Safety (U Toronto doesn’t look at ECs)
