Canadian for Boston college and Northeastern?

Hi, I’m a female junior Canadian hoping to apply to Boston College and Northeastern for business.
-I have an 89% average (80 is an A in Canada and apparently Canadians get a bell curve), but I did not do well in Gr. 9-Gr.10 (84 both years)
-my school doesn’t have class rank (it’s not a thing here (i think))
-independent school
-ECs: many, many clubs (Drama council, school play, Model UN, Stock trading, Social event planning, and more)
-Leadership: 2 leadership roles (peer tutoring head and vice chairman of school ambassador committee)
-Team: one term (season) of softball
-probably good recs and essay

The only problem is I have an awful ACT score of 26, but I still have a lot of time to improve but I don’t think I can get a 30 by September.

Also, northeastern does not require standardized testing for international. I know that these schools are a huge reach for me, but is there any chance? What can i do to improve my chances? Thanks xx

Have you tried the SAT? Often people do better on one test than the other.

Luckily NEU does not consider standardized testing, so that should only affect BC.

Based on all this, I don’t think these are pie in the sky reaches - probably a bit more with your test score and BC, but I would highly recommend trying the SAT just in case.
