Can anyone provide a link to useful information about undergrad MT programs in Canada. My internet searching has turned up a few things, but nothing like this site. Being American, I know very little about Canadian Universities in general. I'd like to get a sense of how competitive they are and how their programs rank either against each other or against American programs.

I'd also be interested in information about programs in other English speaking countries.

My S graduates in 08.

Thanks.

See the recent edition of Everett's College Guide for Performing Arts Majors. It lists programs in Canada. I am not sue which universitites are straight acting vs. MT, but British Columbia and Simon Fraser are two of the most beautiful places that I have seen. Also check out Concordia, SasKatchewan, Windsor, and York. Canadians - the most friendly people on the planet.

I am a canadian student who is graudating high school this year.. i dont think any of those have a degree in MUSICAL theatre.. The places to go in Canada would be Randolph Academy and Sheridan College both being a diploma program i beleive.. I only auditioned at Sheridan and got waitlisted.. so I'll have to see what else i can do for another year :) take care

No MT in Canada. There used to be but because of money issues with schools (in Canada, you had to take FULL Piano, dance, acting and singing lessons that a major in that field would take at the same price as only one major when in reality you had 4.)
