Can you possibly cancel or withhold ACT scores when sending college apps? b/c i'm sure I didn't do too hot on the sept. ACT.

However I did get a 2350 on the SATs superscored... was it a bad idea to try out ACT in the first place?

A 2350 superscore could get you into any college (with good GPA and e.c.'s of course)... so cancel the act if you feel you did bad. Plus, can't you pick whcih ACT you want to send?

There's no need to cancel an ACT score! Noone will know what you made unless you send them a report! Even if you take it multiple times, you choose which score you want to send.

Congrats on the SAT btw.

Awanderer, for college apps, to get the score to the college quickly, you choose to send the scores before you even take the test. The only thing that could have been better than his SAT superscore was a 36 because normally a 35 is around 2340. Yeah I don't see why you took the ACT when you had a 2350 unless you really wanted to get a 36 or a 35 to show that you did well on both. Afterall colleges want to publish on their annual reports high scores like 35s.

You have until this Wednesday or Friday or something to change where your September scores go. Don't cancel, just go online and delete the ones you don't want for sure. If you get a 35 or 36 and want to send it, do so afterwards. You could delete all 4 freebies if you wanted.

Remember to uncheck the box so as not report to your HS as well, so it doesn't show up unofficially on your transcript if your school puts SAT/ACT scores on it.
