the collegeboard says that you can cancel AP exam grades anytime you want, so I have a quick question:

will colleges be able to see that you have cancelled an exam score? or will it be permanently removed from all records (note, transcript, etc.?).

also, it would make a lot more sense to cancel an exam grade AFTER you see what you get on it right? or is there any benefit to cancelling before that? I guess if you're a senior, but i'm a junior and i didn't send my scores to any colleges.

you can cancel it ANYTIME. If you're a junior and want to cancel do it after you get your scores. If you're a senior... it doesn't really matter right?

You have to cancel by June 15th in the YEAR that you take the exam. So no canceling after you get the scores, only witholding grades allowed. This really sucks...

When you cancel an AP exam score, it still lists that you took the test. Instead of the score, it says something like "score withdrawn at request of student." If you listed schools at the time of registration, that part can't be undone. Those schools will get the grade. You can only have the score withdrawn for subsequent transmittals. I don't know anything about a time limit for the request.

err.. you can cancel ANYTIME. You just have to do it by 6/15 "if you do not want the grade to appear on this year's grade report."

and I think that schools won't be able to see that you've taken the test if you 'cancelled' the grade.. or else it defeats the purpose of cancelling..
