How would I go about cancelling my enrollment and housing?

Call the school? That's what I would do...

Contact the office of admissions. Don't know the phone number at the moment, but I'm sure it's on the website.

I called and got a message saying they would be back in the summer... and I've emailed only to get no response.

Please, someone help me before my family has to pay for this. We can't afford it.

Oh...gosh. I'm sorry about your dilemma :(

The only other solution is perhaps to contact them by using the following phone number: 732.932.7565

The number is supposed to be for those contacting in regards to the summer/winter sessions at Rutgers, but it seems like it will be the only way to reach someone. From there, perhaps ask them if there is a way that they can redirect you to another line.

Sorry, that's all I can think of. I'll try to look for another phone number for you if need be...

Read the housing contract to check the refund policy. They can't make you go to the school but the housing contract might be separate. Usually if you don't go the housing is also dropped.

Call the housing office, tell them your problem, ask how to handle it. There are many students wanting campus housing.....they will help. Good luck.
