Can you cancel individual SAT II Scores? Or, if you take all three tests in one day, can you only cancel all three for that day only? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I Googled this and I found something from the old collegeboard discussion board:

">>No, colleges don't know you cancelled the score. <<

Actually, that is incorrect. Your score report says "Absent or scores delayed" instead of showing a score. Colleges won't hold it against you (you may have been ill etc...) unless you have like 5 scores cancelled on your score report.

Remember this:

-If you want to cancel an SAT 1/II score you will NEVER see the score. It just won't be graded.

-To cancel the score RIGHT AFTER the test, ask your proctor for a "cancellation form." Fill it out there (just asks for your name, phone and whatnot as well as your collegeboard registration number--that is found on your admission ticket.

-If you wish to cancel later, you have till the Wednesday following the test. You can send them an e-mail or fax saying you wan't it cancelled.

-Oh, and don't wait till the last minute on Wednesday to cancel! You might forget, your computer might crash or whatever, don't risk it by procrastinating.

-Also, if you want to cancel a test (even if it is just ONE test), you have to cancel ALL tests you took that day! I repeat ALL TESTS YOU TOOK THAT DAY! So if you took Writing and Math, but want to cancel math, writing will have to be cancelled also. I don't know why Collegeboard does this. Maybe because they are evil...

If you have any more questions, you can call Collegeboard or ask here. Good luck!"

I don't know if that answered your question or not!

Oh my, college board IS evil. Oh well... Thanks!

Can you call them or something? If you email them, will they cancel it that same day or something? Im taking world history, and i want to get an idea of how ive done, then cancel on like sunday or monday if i need to... thanks

Is it true that say after you take three SAT IIs in one day you know you did very poorly on one, can you erase all your answers and just leave it blank this was your other two will be graded?

Yeah I have a question too.

Can you "hide" your scores from colleges? I heard that you can't once you get your scores and that colleges will see ALL SAT II scores. Is this true? From other people they say that they won't be able to see the scores you choose for them not to see. I kind of need to know this before Wednesday in order to decide whether or not to cancel a potentially awful US History score. =/

Thanks.
