If you cancel the score, does that mean that its like you NEVER took the test? Just like a practice test...? Or can colleges request the canceled scores/seen you taken it more than once?

Pretty much.
Score canceling would be completely pointless if colleges could see them regardless.

But why would you pay $50 to just “practice” w/o even knowing the answers afterwards?

why cancel while you CAN choose which scores to send to colleges?

Not the more selective colleges.

it has been established through telephone calls to collegeboard that colleges don’t see if you used score choice or not… so test it up

wait, pnthrs11, are you saying that even if the selective colleges say to send in all your scores…they won’t really know.??

that’s what collegeboard said when I called them… so if they say it I would assume it’s true.

oh really…wow…that’s good to know…i’m just mad that this is the first year of change…so everything isn’t really established yet…

this what I’m doing.
Take my chem test tommrow.
Discuss test on Collegeconfidential.
Don’t cancel if I do well or Cancel right away if I don’t do so well and retake in June.
My plans full proof lol.

to clarify…when i get my bad chem grade back, and i retake it in june, without cancelling my scores…i can choose next year when i apply to colleges (even the highly selective ones), to only send my better score??

even if the college asks for all my scores…do they just mean sat, and not sat subject??
