Can't balance redox!

I can't balance redox equations for my life....I need to know a good method, anyone wanna share?

for the SAT2 chem it's not that difficult...you don't even need to do redox in order to balance them, just do it like you would balance regular equations...if for some reason you need to find a charge, just remember that all compounds and free elements are 0 charge unless otherwise stated, and things like O2 is (almost) always -2 etc

I took a practice test from Sparknotes and got a 740...I made stupid mistakes but you're right..the one's I thought were redox were just normal equations, how esteemed is the sparknote chem practice test?

I have heard different things, some people say it is easier than the real thing, some people say it is very similar to the real thing...so it might be slightly easier

If it's easier, then I am ***ing screwed!

me too...I got a 580 on that. i usually do much better, even on Barrons.
