Can't decide on major

I really need help! I can’t decide on my major. I’m stuck between keeping my business degree and getting a concentration in Business Analytics, or switching to something that would allow me more versatility like English. I’m wanting to do something in the Human Resource field or IT. I am a people person but I am not scared of math. Before you say that I could get a degree in management or HR, I don’t want to do that. I know too many people with those degrees that are working in retail. Please help me out I am about to transfer out of CC this semester.

Is it possible to stay with one and minor in the other?

Both English and business analytics are useful and complement each other.

I could do English with a minor in Business and get a certificate in Business Analytics

I just am worried about being one of the college grads stuck in retail. I’m already working on bringing up my gpa

Very few college graduates get stuck in retail - about 11%, actually. The percentage is even lower among business majors. Chances are pretty good that will not be stuck in retail (or any low-skilled service work) no matter what you major in - even theater or art.

Why are you stuck? What draws you to English? TO business analytics?
