Hi, I'm currently a freshman and in the process of trying to pick courses for next semester. I am totally undecided and confused about my major, and I'm just looking for any insight.

I'm on track for an economics major (in the college of arts and sciences), but I'm not entirely sure about econ. I love history and have always loved history, but I know that it is not practical. I would only consider a history major if I double majored with something more practical. I also like writing and would consider a double major in english with something. My parents think a minor in math would be useful no matter what I choose as a major, but I'm apprehensive about this because I'm good at math, but have never been a math brain or wiz in any way. I am worried about how intensive the math would be. I am also interested in business, but the business school at my college is a top 10 undergrad business school and the internal transfer rate between schools is practically 0, which really stinks. I can't even minor in business.

Is a BA in econ useful? Is a econ and history double major a weird combo? Econ/English? Math minor? I'm so confused and any advice would help.
