I want to get into Artificial Intelligence for Computer Science
I can’t decide which is more beneficial
Honors Pre-Calc and Regular Stats or Regular Pre-Calc and AP Stats
If I did honors and AP, my course load would be too much so…

AP statistics emulates a college non-calculus introductory statistics course that is not generally considered difficult. If you are a strong math student, honors precalculus and AP statistics should be doable.
If you must choose one or the other, honors precalculus will give you a more solid foundation for future math courses that you will need as a CS major (calculus, linear algebra, discrete math, CS theory courses that are like math). CS majors often have to take calculus based statistics, which AP statistics does not substitute for.
I think that honors calc is more important than AP Stats as a strong foundation for calculus is important , but if possible you should also do AP Stats.
Honors precalculus definitely since it’s the foundations for the math you’ll need in college. Stats regular is just fine since you may need to take calc-based stats in college (not offered in HS)
AP stats definitely, it’s not hard and will give you college credit. Regular precalc should be enough of a foundation for higher level math. I tested out of precalc, barely passed, and still have done well in calc all the way up to diff eqn.
Of course, the best option would be honors precalc and ap stats. Maybe give it a try? You should be able to drop one of them later if you need to.
Honors Pre-Calc so you will be prepared for Calculus in HS or college. Don’t worry about AP Stats.
