Can't decide?

Hey. So I am going to be applying to colleges soon and I wanted to look for a college with a strong program in my desired major but I need help deciding a major. I am planning on going to medical school and can't decide between neuroscience and psychology( 2 subjects I love) any thoughts on which is better for med school?

Bump

Don’t choose a major solely on which will prepare you better for med school…that’s what prereqs in undergrad are for. Take the first year classes that usually include psychology and biology (maybe a neuroscience 101 class) and decided which one you click with more. But to answer your question, the neuroscience major will provide you more relevant subjects and topics that will likely pop up again in med school.

True, but many doctors did not get their undergrad in a stem major. All you need is your premed classes (which aren’t many btw). The advantage to neuroscience is most premed courses are also part of the major so no extra classes. But psychology will by far be the easier major.
