<p>I got into CIT, CS, and IS. Im thinking about majoring in IS. It seems that its good for 'normal' all around people. IS this a good decision?</p>

<p>Are you interested in business and CS, but don't want to take high level CS courses (OS, crazy algorithm analysis stuff)? Then IS is the right major for you.</p>
<p>My roommate enrolled as a CS major, quickly realized he hated it, and apparently found out that IS is what he wants to do because it combines CS and business stuff. There seems to be a general conception of IS as a slacker major, but I don't think that's true.</p>
