I'm not exaggerating, I've been sick to my stomach every single day since they've requested my midyear grades. I'm from New Hampshire and really want to get into URI, I didn't perform too well in HS freshmen-junior year. My GPA going to senior year was 2.5. I got straight up denied from UNH (early action), got into two safety schools that I really do not want to attend, and then applied for URI (regular admission). They've requested midyear grades from me and I was SO excited. My senior year was going perfectly until a slip-up my 2nd quarter.

Q1 Grades were,

Yep, I completely messed up. Failed IB Film Making second quarter (with a 60%, my school does not offer D's). Did not expect to receive the grade but it happened. I feel like I just completely ruined my chances to get into URI. They've already received my midyear grades, I sent admissions an e-mail explaining myself and taking full responsibility for the grade, but told them that it was not usual and will not happen again. They put it in my file.

Do you guys think I blew it? Acceptance/rejection comes back at the latest by the end of March. I feel so sick, I want to go here more than anything else. I've been enthusiastic in e-mails and they're aware that I'd enroll if I was accepted. Please post your opinions here.

Thank you all so much,
