So I went and saw my advisor today. I asked him to make sure everything was good for graduation, which it was. I will be graduating June 24 from Broward College. Then I asked him about my AA, because all UCF needs is confirmation that i finished my AA. HE TELLS ME THAT AT BROWARD THE AA WON'T SHOW UP ON TRANSCRIPTS TILL AUGUST 15?! This makes no sense to me. Why can't they send my AA after I finish summer A? I don't understand. Please someone tell me what to do. SHould I call/write the school asking for the transcripts to be sent before UCF's July 1st deadline? I really need help/advice. I feel like i'm gonna cry. UCF's my dream school and it now feels like i'm getting screwed. HELP.

Why don’t you immediately call UCF and tell them your dilemma and any advice they would have for you?

Send UCF a copy of your transcript up to now and a copy of your current course load.
That will show UCF that you are enrolled and will finish the courses required to finish your AA at the end of the semester with grades pending.
You tell them you will send a final transcript in August showing your final grades and completion of your AA.
Call UCF and speak to a Admissions counselor , get their name and tell if the plan above will do.

If this is standard at Broward, UCF already knows about it. Even though the degree won’t show up on your transcript until August, Broward can give you a letter to send to UCF that states that you have indeed completed all of the requirements for your AA. I’m betting that they print out dozens like that every single year. Go back to your advisor, and ask how to arrange for this.

just an update: I called BCC’s transcript department and graduation office and they both said that my transcripts will say that I did graduate and have received my AA. I’m very happy. I see where my advisor got confused, though, he probably thought that I was enrolled in session summer 1 and not summer 2, which ends on june 22
