There are classes I want to register that are the next level up from my current courses. But trying to add them says I haven't filled the prerequisite for the class, thus I can't register them. I can understand that it doesn't show I've fulfilled the prerequisite on my record yet since the classes aren't over and I don't have a grade yet, but what am I supposed to do? I don't want to be forced to have to try to squeeze in at the last minute when the class is already full. I had to do that this quarter and it was hell. Please someone tell me how I'm supposed to register my classes now so I can be at ease.
Thanks.

URSA knows what classes you’re taking this quarter and factors it in, it is either a different class or you’re trying to take a required class from a department other than your own. Would kind of help if you told us what class you’re trying to sign up for…

Same here,

When I tried adding PSYCH 110 it said

This primary and all secondaries have college and/or major restrictions which you do not meet. Consult the On-line Schedule of Classes or URSA OnLine Classes and Real-Time Enrollment Counts for details.

I have the same problem…

for psych110, you have to be pre-psy, pre-psychobio, and some other majors. for 1st pass

If you need details, these are east asian language classes. I’m a major in east asian lang in the college of letters and science so its not a matter of the classes being from a different department. I’m also 100% sure of what classes I’m choosing. They are the next classes up, no mistake.

if you contact the prof, they may give you a PTE number if you can show them that you want to be/belong in the class. PTE numbers overrule everything

^^^ do professors already have PTE numbers???

Yeah, I wouldn’t think PTE numbers would exist yet since the classes haven’t started yet.

If you e-mail them anyways, they’ll know you’re trying to enroll and will help you out if you’re in the major. Doesn’t matter if they have PTEs or not. Establish the connection and work from there. Just ASK.
