<p>There's a lot of talk about CAP right now. I have a question for the CAP students. What were your stats and major? This would be helpful to current and future UT applicants to help set their sites and expectations. For 2014 the auto-admit drops to 7%.</p>

<p>My major was neuroscience, my GPA was at one point a 3.8 but then dropped to a 3.5, and then I brought it back to a 3.67. Mind you, I took 3 AP classes my entire 4 years in HS. I ranked higher than most people with all AP classes and was in the top 9%. My SAT is too poor to mention because I simply dont test well under conditions like that. I have credits from AP Eco, and AP Psych. AP Gov, I blanked, I knew it but for some reason couldnt recall it. I dont believe Il have trouble at UTSA and hope to be in Austin next year. UTSA has a lovely campus and lovely ladies (especially those at orientation) so Ill be fine for the year.</p>
<p>I just finished freshmen year at UTSA and am transferring to UT Austin this fall. The classes were generally very easy and most people who did CAP got in</p>
