CAP or PACE?! UT Austin

So I got waitlisted from UT Mccombs. I was top 5% of my graduating class and I had forgotten that Mccombs does not do auto admits. Although they did place me in PACE whichis a programwhere I would need to do 12 hours a semester at Austin Community College and 3 hours at UT austin each semester. Another program was CAP
Where I could go to another UT campus (UTSA most likely) and transfer to UT austin the following year. Which one is bettter?

Or is there any way I could reject the UT mccombs waitlist and change to Liberal Arts or Natural sciences?? Or will I have to wait till next year..:( I really have no idea what to do

If you are in the top 5% of your class, then you are an auto-admit — not necessarily to McCombs, but to The University of Texas at Austin. By law, you must be admitted (probably to General Studies). You should appeal the decision.

@Kazy11…you didn’t make a second choice?
I’m with @cocox2…it sounds like an appeal is in order. The law is on your side.
