Capital Campaign

The University of Chicago just announced the timing and goals of a new fundraising campaign which Cue7 and perhaps a coupld of others had predicted for several months:

<a href="http://news.uchicago.edu/article/2014/05/08/university-sets-goal-45-billion-university-chicago-campaign-inquiry-and-impact?utm_source=newsmodule">http://news.uchicago.edu/article/2014/05/08/university-sets-goal-45-billion-university-chicago-campaign-inquiry-and-impact?utm_source=newsmodule</a></p>

The $4.5 billion goal is great. It’s ambitious (more than the goals of Duke, Penn, and Northwestern, equal to Johns Hopkins), and good to see that $2B+ has been raised already. I’m interested to see more details as they emerge (e.g. how much will be raised for what purposes).
