career after ibanking

what do people do after the first couple of years of ibanking, do they continue, or choose another path? I don't think i would be able to continue doing that all my life, so what alternative paths are there after you quit ibanking?

honestly, the exit opportunities are so vast with investment banking it's pointless to even list them.

Most people end up doing their two years as an analyst and quit iBanking right there. THe people who really love it go to BUsiness School and then come back as an Associate after school is done. Even then, people leave the career sometimes, but the dropoff is much less than after the 2-yr analyst role.

Basically, any employer who looks at the resume of a person coming out of wall street will KNOW that the candidate will be extremely hard-working, have an excellent working knowledge of finance (and great quantitative skills), and be motivated to succeed. PLUS, as an ibanker you're exposed to so many leaders in the business world, you have a tremendous networking advantage over everyone else.

You can virtually go anywhere you want
