career center

Trying to decide between U of Maryland College Park (Univ. Honors), U of Rochester, and Syracuse.

The deciding factor may come down to how effective are their career/placement offices in getting internships for undergrads and jobs for graduating students.
How can reliable info be obtained?

Thanks.

I'd say call the career center and see what type of services they offer, but you're obviously going to get biased info from each school.

Business majors don't use the university career center; we have our own. So I really can't offer much guidance.

However, there are a LOT of differences in these 3 schools (location especially when it comes to UMD, and the honors program, special programs available within your major, campus life, surrounding area, etc.), and I think you should focus on those things when making your decision rather than the career center. If you're proactive enough, you could get a great job without even having a career center or its resources, so I don't think that should be the deciding factor in your college search.
