Evaluating a college's career center

Trying to decide between U of Rochester, U of Maryland College Park (Univ. Honors) and Syracuse.

The deciding factor may come down to how effective are their career/placement offices in getting internships for undergrads and jobs for graduating students.
How can reliable info be obtained?

Thanks.

Sorry I do not have specific info on their career centers (did you check the websites?) but U of R is next to Strong Memorial Hospital (aka University of Rochester Medical Center) so if the major is anything medical related, internships should not be too hard to obtain.

Good point. Thank you. Unfortunately, my daughter has no idea what her occupational interests will be. But, career counseling and assistance is not something most students consider in selecting a school.

I don't consider the websites informative, as they only project wonderful things about themselves.

The most "reliable" sources of information are current students and alumni.
Some colleges provide a list of the on-campus recruiters in a given year which I've found very interesting.
