I am interested in Immunoparasitology career however I am NOT interested in becoming a M.D. I am more interested in research regarding this career so more likely earning a PH.D. Is that possible? If so what undergraduate major should i declare to ensure that I am on the correct path.

If you haven’t even started college yet, slow down and relax.
Yes, it is possible to have a career in research in this area. There is not just one major that will get you on the right path, though. Biology, biochemistry, cell biology - any variety of life sciences majors could get you started on the right track. Ultimately, it’s not just your undergrad major that will matter. What type of research you get involved in will have a significant impact, and that might not exactly match your major. Your research interests may change once you actually get into things as well and perhaps find some other area of research that really interests you.

In short: pick a life sciences major that interests you and get involved in research early.
