I've been searching and I think I've only seen a couple schools with "Immunology and Microbiology" as an undergraduate major. What should my undergrad major be - biomedical science or just strictly biology? Also, what universities offer the best undergraduate programs for this?

What do you mean by “immunologist”? If you mean a PhD in Immunobiology or something similar, then you should major in biology or molecular cell bio or some related science field.

If you mean an MD who is fellowship trained (after an internal medicine residency) in allergy/immunology, then your undergrad major doesn’t matter.

So either Microbiology or Biological Sciences as an undergraduate major. Aren’t Microbiology and Immunology intertwined? I want to pursue clinical Immunolgy so whatever undergraduate major fits best with that graduate major…?
