Career prospects

Are the career prospects of an International tudent the same as any other student, or do they differ? If they do(I think they do, by the way), how?
And do the prospects improve in the student's home country?

You mean career prospects in the US? That comes down to whether or not you have a legal work permit.

It’s expensive for an employer to sponsor foreigners for a work visa and a lot of paperwork that they may shy away from. Your job also needs to require a Bachelor’s degree and be related to your major, which puts a work visa off limits for liberal arts majors. Your position needs to pay at least average wage for jobs in that location and industry (which eliminates about half of all positions).

Foreigners can’t get a security clearance to work with classified information either. Some public institutions cannot hire foreigners at all.

In short: Your job options in the US are severely limited in the early stages of your career. The more specialized knowledge and skills you bring to the table, the more incentives employers have to go through a lot of trouble to hire you.
