Exploring careers: I am very interested in finding out more information about careers in the CIA. I would like to know what the agency has to offer. Do you recommend a career in the FBI or CIA? Any information will help.

… did you read through the websites?

the CIA and FBI have an extremely wide variety of careers. Many of the career tracks are very different; some involve more travel than others.

@soccerguy315 yes but I’m not really getting a clear view of the careers listed. I want more information about those careers.

are there any of the careers that you might be specifically interested in and/or have specific questions about? I might be able to give some insight into some of them.

of course, you can always go to a job fair… FBI and CIA (and others) do send out recruiters now, and those people are equipped to answer questions from interested applicants.

The CIA does internships IIRC in a variety of fields – from graphic arts, webdesign to IT and finance to even actual field work last I checked. Huge, huge variety. The only thing is, they’re very specific in their application process and (of course) extensive background check. It scared me LOL.

It’s on their website. :)

Not sure about internships, but what an interesting place to work. I would look into it. Pick up the phone ask for a courtesy interview.
