Hey guys! I decided to start this as a way for all of us on the waitlist to support each other.
Personally, Carleton wasn’t one of my top choices, but I’m really falling in love with it more each day.

I saw one or two people on Reddit talk about hearing from Carleton about a waitlist spot, but I’m taking them with a grain of salt because one post mysteriously vanished, and the other is declining the spot. I don’t think any real movement has happened yet. Hoping for this week and next

I just got the following response to my LOCI email: “We will know more next week if we will be able to go to the waitlist. We will be in contact either way.”

Got the exact same
So Carleton is getting Lafayette’s president and someone in the comments asks her if she can get moving with the waitlist. LOL.

Will the school send out email to mark the end of the waiting?
Since they said that they’ll be in contact either way, I’m hoping that they tell us whether they’ll be able to go to the waitlist by today!

Carleton was my last WL so I’m going to Hamilton College for sure!

It seems that everyone who got off the waitlist got the acceptance before May 1st.

Hi claudette! I looked into Carleton during my college search process and I would recommend reading the Carleton College admissions blog if you want to learn more about student life it was super helpful for me getting a more personal insight about the school!
